The Penny Games

A multi-day experience focused on connecting student talent with long-term opportunity. The event convenes students from HBCUs, high school students, and over 30 regional and national employers, civic institutions, and universities. Programming includes competitive debate rounds, a live esports tournament, a college and career fair, and curated cultural experiences that introduce students to Birmingham’s broader social and economic landscape.

Kids and Jobs Program

The City of Birmingham Mayor’s Office Division of Youth Services’ (DYS) Kids and Jobs Program cultivates the professional development necessary for youth and young adults to become an integral part of the workforce.
The Magic City Expo

The Magic City Expo

The Magic City Expo offers a face to face platform for businesses to market and sell their products and services to the Birmingham consumer audience. We provide economic development by creating a direct sales platform between local businesses and local consumers. We bring other businesses and attendees from other markets to participate, thus resulting in tourism, hotel bookings, food, and entertainment patronage of local institutions.

Ballin for Kids

Ballin for Kids

The charity influencer basketball game is designed to: Raise Funds – Generate financial support for Ballin for Kids through sponsorships, ticket sales, and donations. Scholarships will be given to local school basketball teams and youth sports nonprofits. Create Awareness – Use the platform of athletes and influencers to shine a light on important social issues. Engage the Community – Bring people together in a fun, competitive, and family-friendly environment. Inspire Action – Encourage attendees and participants to get involved in charitable work beyond the event.

Birmingham Black Male Summit

The Birmingham Black Male Summit is an annual convening of Black Men and young men throughout Birmingham for a day of education, mentoring, ideation, and collaboration. The goal of the Birmingham Black Male Summit is to provide a space for Black Men to discuss solutions to social issues and address problems locally so that we can collectively bring forth solutions in the areas of financial literacy, workforce development, education, and health. In addition, the summit provides young men and their families the opportunity to have their voices heard regarding issues that impact young Black males. It also provides the opportunity for parents and guardians to get resources to support them in raising the next generational of leaders

Bluejireh Foundation

The Bluejireh Foundation was formed in 2019 as a corporate initiative of the Bluejireh Corporation. The Bluejireh Foundation has several functions, including granting to other non-profits, but primarily focuses on three things; Entrepreneurship, Scholarship, and Aviation.

Byrd Fund

The Byrd Fund supports initiatives that rejuvenate west Birmingham, the arts and individuals interested in attending or currently attending veterinary school at Tuskegee University.

Community-Owned Grocery Store Fund

The Community-Owned Grocery Store is a replicable model. It is a profit generating, self-perpetuating resource that allows money to circulate within the community. It anchors economic development in its zip code, providing jobs and lifting the overall value of the community. COGS eliminate food deserts and allow people to become investors in assets within their community.

Connie Tucker Legacy Foundation

Our mission is to inspire greatness for generations by empowering organizations, institutions, and individuals. Our purpose is to use the legacy of Connie Tucker and the resources that she left to educate, inspire, and groom upcoming leaders and potential leaders. We provide projects and programs that will facilitate an environment of growth and development intergenerationally.

Eyapse uses sports and athletics as a classroom so teens and young adults build the educational, social, professional, and ethical skills to thrive at work and in their communities.

Freedom Line Tours Foundation's mission is to assist in partnering with individuals, public and private entities that contribute to the mental, physical, and emotional quality of life of the communities around the world. Freedom Line Tours Foundation Provides grantmaking and capacity building support for communities in our tour areas.

The Our Voice Our Time Project is a video voice project that provides youth and young adults the opportunity to express their feelings and thoughts about their neighborhoods, communities, and their cities. Smart Town

Smart Town is a one-day conference to empower residents to use technology to better their lives and communities. The conference offers a mix of panel discussions and technology instructor-led seminars to engage community members in the areas of faith, education, entrepreneurship, and social impact. With breakout sessions for beginners, intermediate, and experienced users of technology, the conference is designed to enhance the unique experience of each attendee. The conference is an opportunity for attendees to interact with products and services as well as experience how technologies continue to improve our daily lives and strengthen our communities.

TAPS, A Play

A compelling theatrical experience that fosters connections, reflection, and dialogue within the Greater Birmingham community. Through storytelling, the play seeks to illuminate shared histories and inspire a deeper Understanding of our collective journey.

The Ambria Gary Foundation

The Ambria Gary Foundation is committed to bringing awareness of the medical challenges associated with endometriosis, by encouraging self-advocacy in people of color and bringing recognition to existing health care disparities. We will strive to support young women’s educational goals through monetary contributions each year.
